Potato And Herb Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 lb. potatoes, cubed
    1 3/4 c. chicken stock
    1 3/4 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 egg yolk (if desired)
    1/4 c. finely chopped mixed seasonal herbs
    1 Tbsp. whipping cream (if desired)
Preparation
    In large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
    Add potatoes. Cover and let stand 5 minutes to allow potatoes to absorb butter.
