Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. Crisco
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in milk
4 1/2 to 5 c. sifted flour
Preparation

Cream shortening, butter and sugar.
Add eggs, salt, vanilla and sour milk.
Mix in flour.
Chill dough overnight.
Roll small portions at a time on a floured board.
Make a round ball and flatten.
Fill with Raisin Filling, cover with another cookie and press edges together with a fork.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes or until brown.
