Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 tsp. soda
    pinch of salt
    pinch of cream of tartar
    12 qt. popped corn
Preparation
    Bring mixture of sugar, syrup, butter and salt to a boil; cook to soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat; add 1/2 teaspoon soda and cream of tartar.
    Pour over popped corn; mix well.
    Put in pan; bake in oven for 1 hour at 200\u00b0.
    Remove from oven; place on waxed paper and separate.
    After it is cool, place in sealed jar or plastic bag.
