Syrian Green Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. fresh green beans
2 lb. beef stew meat
2 large onions, sliced
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 (13 oz.) cans tomatoes, crushed
Preparation

Brown meat halfway in butter.
Add onions and brown with meat. Add salt, pepper and cut green beans.
Add crushed tomatoes and cook slowly, 1 1/2 hours, until meat is tender.
Very good served over hot buttered rice.
