Scallop Cream Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. scallops
    1/2 tsp. minced onion
    1 c. water
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1 c. milk
    1 slightly beaten egg
    1 pkg. linguini
    2 tsp. Parmesan cheese
    1/4 tsp. salt and pepper
    2 tsp. flour
Preparation
    Blend scallops, onion, salt, pepper and water in a saucepan . Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
    Drain.
    Save 1 cup of liquid.
    Melt butter; blend in flour, paprika and oregano; add liquid and milk. Cook until thick and bubbly.
    Stir a small amount of mixture into egg; add egg to mixture.
    Add scallops.
