Mrs. Mac'S Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour
    3 c. sugar
    3 sticks margarine
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Cream sugar and margarine until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each one.
    Add flour with salt; alternate with milk. Add extract; stir in coconut.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes in a tube pan.
