Cream Of Asparagus Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh asparagus
    3 1/2 c. chicken broth
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. light cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Trim off coarse ends of asparagus.
    Cut asparagus into 1-inch pieces.
    Combine asparagus and 1 cup broth in medium saucepan. Cook 12 to 15 minutes until tender.
