Joyce'S Caramel Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1 c. oleo
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
7 qt. popped corn
1 lb. blanched nuts
Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients together and boil for 5 minutes.
Add vanilla and soda; this will cause mixture to fizz.
Spray large metal dishpan or mixing bowl with Pam spray.
Pour syrup mixture over 7 quarts popped corn and blanched peanuts.
Mix well together and place in 250\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
