Marinated Summer Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium size yellow or zucchini squash, thinly sliced
    2 onions, thinly sliced and separated in rings
    1 green pepper, thinly sliced
    3 celery ribs, thinly sliced
    1 small clove garlic, minced (optional)
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 or 3 dashes Tabasco sauce
Preparation
    Arrange vegetables in layers in a container.
    Thoroughly mix ingredients for marinade and pour over vegetables.
    Chill.
    Yield: 12 servings.
