Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. oleo
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. white syrup
    1 1/2 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and water to hard ball.
    Add peanuts and oleo.
    Cook to light caramel color.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and soda.
    Stir.
    Pour onto 2 greased cookie sheets.
    As it cools, stretch out.
