Shrimp Scampi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
    1 stick butter
    1/4 c. finely chopped fresh parsley
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    salt to taste
    Louisiana hot sauce or ground cayenne pepper to taste
Preparation
    In medium sized frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the parsley and onions.
    Saute until onions are tender.
    Add lemon juice and garlic; stir and continue to saute about 5 minutes.
    Add shrimp, salt and hot sauce; stir and mix well. Saute until the shrimp are opaque and turn pinkish (about 5 minutes).
    DO NOT OVERCOOK.
    Makes 2 to 4 servings.
