Sour Cream Raisin Pie - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
4 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 c. raisins
Preparation

Mix 1 cup of sugar (reserve 1/2 cup for meringue) with cornstarch and spices.
Beat one egg and three egg yolks.
Add eggs to sour cream.
Mix with sugar mixture.
Mix together and add raisins.
Cook in double boiler until thick, stirring constantly. Pour into baked 9-inch crust.
