Rum Raisin Sauce(For Ice Cream) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. dark rum
    1/2 c. seedless raisins
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1 cinnamon stick, broken in half
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
    1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Pour rum over raisins to plump.
    Set aside.
    In heavy saucepan, mix sugar and water.
    Add cinnamon stick.
    Bring to a boil and boil hard for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Add raisins and rum and cook for 5 minutes more.
    Add vanilla, lemon rind, orange rind and pecans.
    Spoon in sterilized jar and seal or store covered in refrigerator.
    Great on ice cream or pound cake!
