Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dates
    1 lb. nuts, broken
    1 lb. pineapple
    1 lb. cherries
    5 eggs
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together. Chop fruit and break nuts.
    Mix dry ingredients and mix with fruit.
    Beat eggs. Add vanilla and pour over fruit. Bake 1 hour in greased pans lined with wax paper at 300\u00b0.
