Pecan Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    2 c. white syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 Tbsp. flour
    6 Tbsp. hot water
Preparation
    Place pecan halves real close together in pie crusts. Pour the mixture, which has been heated enough to melt the butter, over the nuts. (Beat egg whites and yolks together for best results.) Place in oven and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until top is golden brown and filling is thick. Serve with whipped cream if desired. Yields 2 pies.
