Szechuan Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil (Crisco)
    1 lb. extra large raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
    1/4 c. minced green onion
    2 Tbsp. minced fresh ginger
    3 cloves garlic, finely minced
    2 Tbsp. dry sherry
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 or 3 Tbsp. catsup
    2 Tbsp. chilli sauce
    1 tsp. red pepper flakes
Preparation
    Heat oil in a wok or large, heavy skillet.
    Add shrimp, green onion, ginger and garlic.
    Stir-fry until shrimp are pink.
    Add sherry, soy sauce, salt and sugar.
    Stir well and blend in catsup, chilli sauce and red pepper flakes.
    Serve with hot cooked rice. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
