Sauteed Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
medium-sized green tomatoes
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
toast rounds
3/4 c. milk or cream
1 tsp. chopped fresh parsley
Preparation

Combine flour, salt, paprika and nutmeg; mix well.
Cut tomatoes in 1/2-inch slices.
Dip into flour mixture.
Saute slices gently in melted butter.
Place on toast rounds.
Blend the butter and flour left in the skillet with the milk and parsley. When the sauce is smooth and hot, pour it over the tomatoes.
