French Coconut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. buttermilk
    3 eggs
    1 3/4 c. coconut
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add buttermilk to sugar and butter. Beat eggs lightly and add to mixture, stirring lightly.
    Add coconut and vanilla.
    Pour into unbaked shell.
    Cook 10 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Lower heat to 300\u00b0 and bake 40 minutes more until done. (From \"A Taste of Georgia.\")
