Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. rice
    5 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. milk (whole)
    1/4 tsp. cardamon
    salt
    melted butter
    cinnamon
Preparation
    Cook rice according to package directions.
    Scald milk.
    Let cool to lukewarm.
    Beat eggs, sugar, vanilla and cardamon.
    Add milk and cooked rice.
    Put in a 1 1/2-quart buttered casserole dish.
    Place in shallow pan of water and bake at 350\u00b0.
    After 20 to 25 minutes of baking, insert a fork and stir from sides without disturbing the top.
    Dot with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Continue baking 35 minutes, more or less, until custard is set.
    Makes 6 servings.
