Ingredients

1 c. flour and 3 Tbsp.
1/2 c. butter (if other shortening is used, add 1/2 tsp. salt)
2 whole eggs
1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. shredded coconut
1 c. pecans
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix as for pie crust 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar and butter.
Spread in a 8 x 12-inch baking dish.
Bake 10 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Beat together eggs, 1 cup brown sugar, salt, vanilla and 3 tablespoons flour.
Add coconut and pecans.
Spread on top of the crust.
Bake 20 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Cut in bars.
