Grandma Purcell'S Rolled Oat Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. boiling water
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter
1 yeast cake, dissolved in lukewarm water
4 c. rolled oats
8 c. whole wheat flour or half and half
Preparation

Add boiling water to oats.
Let stand 1 hour.
Add molasses, brown sugar and butter.
Add dissolved yeast.
Add flour.
Let rise until double in bulk.
Form into loaves, let rise until double again.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
