Gooey Butter Cake - cooking recipe

1 (18 1/4 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
1 stick butter, melted
1 egg
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 stick butter, melted
1 (16 oz.) box powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Combine cake mix, 1 stick butter and egg; mix well. Pat into a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla and 1 stick butter; beat until smooth. Add powdered sugar and mix well. Spread over cake mixture. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes. You want the center to be a little gooey, so do not over bake.
