Boiled Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    sprinkle of ginger
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Boil 2 cups water and 1 cup raisins for 5 minutes.
    Drain juice off raisins, should be about 1 cup.
    Add 1 teaspoon baking soda to juice.
    Stir all together.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
