Louisiana Lemon Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. shortening or margarine
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. lemon flavoring
2 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Sift soda with flour and add to mixture alternately with milk.
Add flavoring.
Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
