Potato Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    1/2 c. potato water
    1 1/2 c. warm water
    1 pkg. yeast
    3/4 c. shortening
    2 eggs, well beaten
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 tsp. salt
    8 c. flour
Preparation
    Let yeast soften in warm water.
    Combine fresh mashed potatoes with potato water, sugar, shortening and salt.
    When cool, add softened yeast, beaten eggs and 4 cups flour.
    Beat with electric mixer until smooth.
    Let rest 1/2 hour, then work dough with other flour by hand.
    Knead until smooth as satin.
    Round in a ball and place in well-greased bowl.
    Cover and let rise until double. Make into rolls.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
