Hot Chicken Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chopped chicken
    2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    12 slices bread, buttered
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimiento, drained
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1/4 c. celery, chopped
    8 oz. sour cream (undiluted)
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Combine chicken, eggs, mayo, onion, mushrooms and celery.
    In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, place bread, butter side down.
    Spread chicken mixture evenly.
    Combine soup, sour cream and pimiento; mix well.
    Place another row of bread and pour soup and sour cream mix over top.
    Top with almonds.
    Bake for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
