Sheath Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 sticks oleo
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 Tbsp. soda
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Sift together sugar, flour and salt into a mixing bowl.
Set aside.
Put oleo, cocoa and water in a saucepan.
Bring mixture to a rapid boil and pour over sugar and flour mixture.
Stir well. Add remaining ingredients.
Mix well.
Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake 20 minutes at 400\u00b0.
Start making icing 5 minutes before cake is done.
