Squash Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 c. yellow squash, cubed (crookneck variety)
    1 small onion, diced
    2 c. crumbled corn bread
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
    1 tsp. poultry seasoning (marjoram, thyme and sage)
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion in enough water for simmering, about 1 1/2 cups until tender.
    Drain, reserving 1 cup liquid.
    Mix all ingredients lightly; place in 2-quart buttered casserole dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until light golden brown.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
