Half Moon Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. commercial sour cream
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening (yellow)
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Cream the sour cream, shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs; mix well.
    In separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    Stir into creamed mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Ice flat side, half chocolate and half vanilla. Makes 48.
