Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. hot water
    1 c. quick oatmeal
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Pour hot water over oatmeal.
    Let stand while preparing cake mixture.
    Cream together butter, sugars and eggs.
    Add cinnamon and baking soda.
    Mix well.
    Add flour, salt and oatmeal.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
