Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. milk
3 Tbsp. cocoa
3/4 c. crunchy peanut butter
3 c. quick-cooking oats, uncooked
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Combine sugar, butter, milk and cocoa in a heavy saucepan; stir well.
Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil; cook 1 minute.
Stir in peanut butter, oats and vanilla; mix well. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased waxed paper. Cool thoroughly.
Yield:
4 dozen.
