Caramel Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter or margarine, cream and vanilla, stirring constantly.
    Boil 3 minutes.
    Remove from heat and cool.
    Beat until spreading consistency.
    Icing stays moist on cake for several days and does not form a crust like may cooked icings do!
