Caramel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    2 well beaten eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1 2/3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter; add sugar and beat well.
    Add eggs, milk, flour and vanilla.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes in 2 (8-inch) layer pans.
    Use Caramel Frosting.
