Mom'S Chicken Biscuit Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed chicken broth or broth from cooked chicken
    3/4 c. milk
    2 c. cooked, cubed chicken
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 c. cooked peas, drained
    1 c. cooked carrots, drained
    1 can Pillsbury regular or buttermilk biscuits (10)
Preparation
    Preheat oven
    to
    375\u00b0.
    In 9 x 13-inch pan melt margarine; blend in flour, salt and pepper on stove.
    Add broth and milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
    Add chicken, onion and vegetables
    (broccoli
    can
    be
    substituted
    for peas) and simmer until hot and bubbly.
    Separate biscuits and place over mixture. Bake
    20
    to 25 minutes or until biscuits are nicely browned. Makes about 4 servings.
