Rhubarb Slush - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. rhubarb, cut up
    2 qt. water
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    4 c. sugar
    7-Up or ginger ale
Preparation
    Cook rhubarb and water until tender; strain (throw away rhubarb pulp).
    While still hot, add Jell-O, lemon juice and sugar.
    Put in container and freeze.
    Serve 2 scoops or more of slush in a glass with 7-Up or ginger ale.
