Fettuccine Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. extra-long fettuccine
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    2/3 c. light cream or sour cream (substituted)
    1/4 lb. sweet butter
    1 egg yolk
Preparation
    Cook noodles according to directions on box.
    While noodles are cooking, beat egg yolk and add to cream.
    Melt butter, place drained hot noodles in warm serving bowl or platter.
    Pour egg and cream mixture, melted butter and 1/2 of the Parmesan cheese over noodles.
    Toss noodles until well blended adding remaining cheese gradually while tossing.
    Serve immediately.
