Bill'S Quick And Easy Chow Mein(10-Minute Chow Mein) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 onion
2 carrots
1 stalk bok choy (Chinese cabbage)
pea pods
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 c. soy sauce
2 c. water
1/4 c. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. powdered ginger
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
meat (optional, chicken, shrimp or beef), pre-sauteed (1/2 lb.)
Preparation

Chop vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
Heat a large wok, then add oil.
Stir in vegetables and continue stirring for a few minutes.
Add garlic and continue stirring one minute.
Add mixture of water, soy sauce, ginger and cornstarch and cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick and creamy.
Add meat if desired.
Serve over rice.
