Corn Bread Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large onion, chopped
2 ribs celery, chopped
2 Tbsp. bell pepper, chopped
2 boiled eggs, chopped
2 to 4 c. broth
salt to taste
1 Tbsp. black pepper
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
2 raw eggs
deboned meat (if desired)
2 slices bread, toasted and crumbled
Preparation

Make a skillet of cornbread (do not make thick).
Boil hen in 1 1/2 quarts water.
Crumble corn bread and slices of bread.
Add vegetables that have been simmered for about 5 minutes in 1/2 cup of broth.
Make sure everything is cool that goes into the bread crumbs.
(If hot water is used, bread will gum together.)
Add seasonings, chopped eggs, beaten raw eggs and meat, if desired. Pour broth over mixture, stirring lightly so as not to mash up crumbs.
Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven until brown.
Stir one time while baking.
