Flat Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. unbleached flour
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    pinch of salt
    water (enough to make a moist dough)
    oil for frying
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients to make a moist, not sticky, dough. Pinch off a tablespoon (approximately) at a time and press into 5-inch patty, like a tortilla.
    Fry patties in heavy skillet, well coated with oil, until golden brown.
    Serve hot.
    Makes 1 1/2 dozen 5-inch loaves.
