5 Hour Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 carrots, cut in bite size pieces
    5 celery stalks, chopped
    3 potatoes, cut in chunks
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 lb. stewing beef, cut into 1-inch pieces
    2 1/2 c. stewed tomatoes
    4 Tbsp. dry tapioca
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix together in ovenproof kettle.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 5 hours. Serve with hot bread or cornbread.
