Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    3 eggs, well beaten
    few grains salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. pecan meats
Preparation
    Combine syrup, sugar and butter in pan and heat to boiling. Beat the eggs and salt until light.
    Gradually pour hot syrup over eggs; beat constantly.
    Add vanilla and blend.
    Pour in pie shell and sprinkle pecan meats over top and bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
