Taco Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1/3 c. sliced olives (optional)
1 1/2 c. corn chips, crushed
1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls
1 c. sour cream
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
shredded lettuce
tomato slices
salsa (optional)
Preparation

Brown beef and onions; drain fat.
Stir in tomato sauce, taco mix and olives.
Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles.
Shape triangles in ungreased 9 x 10-inch pie pan, pressing up the sides to form a crust.
Sprinkle 1 cup corn chips over bottom of crust; fill with meat mixture; spread sour cream over meat.
Cover with cheese.
Sprinkle remaining corn chips over top.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes, until crust is golden brown.
Serve in wedges, topped with lettuce and tomatoes.
Salsa on the side.
