French Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 medium onion, thinly sliced (3 c.)
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans condensed beef broth (about 2 1/2 c.)
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    sliced hard rolls or French bread
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Cook onions in butter until lightly browned, about 15 minutes. Add beef broth, water and Worcestershire sauce.
    Simmer 20 minutes.
    Sprinkle sliced hard rolls or French bread generously with Parmesan cheese.
    Broil until lightly browned.
    Float atop each serving of soup.
    Serves 4 to 6.
