Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. melted shortening
    2 1/4 c. brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, combine melted shortening and brown sugar. Stir in eggs one at a time.
    Beat well after each egg.
    Add dry ingredients and mix.
    Add nuts and chocolate chips.
    Spread into a greased 8 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 25 minutes.
    Let cool and then cut into squares.
