Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. peeled and cubed potatoes
    1 1/2 c. celery, diced
    3 cans clams, minced or chopped (with juice)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1 qt. half and half cream or mix even amounts with milk
    3/4 c. margarine
    3/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Pour clams with juice over potatoes and celery; add water just to cover vegetables.
    Boil until tender.
    Drain, except for very small amount (liquid depends on how thick you want chowder).
