Boiled Custard(No Eggs) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3.4 oz.) pkg. instant pudding
    3 1/2 c. milk
    1/3 c. sugar (scant)
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Stir all ingredients together.
    Beat with mixer for 1 or 2 minutes.
    After this sets awhile, it may be too thick.
    If so, add more milk until you have the consistency you desire.
    More flavoring may be added, if desired.
