Fresh Apricot Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small pkg. dried apricots
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cook apricots and sugar in a heavy pan over medium heat with enough water to cover until apricots are tender.
    Stir often last 15 minutes of cooking until they are consistency of jam.
    More or less sugar may be added.
    More water may also be needed to keep fruit from sticking until done.
    Store in refrigerator.
