Scotch Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
1 c. oleo or shortening
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 egg yolks
2/3 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Mix first 5 ingredients as for pie crust.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Spread about 2/3 of dough into baking sheet (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch), bringing dough up sides of pan. Fill with canned pie filling (any flavor).
Use remaining dough to make lattice top.
Bake at 325\u00b0 until lightly browned.
