Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. honey
1/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. buttermilk
3 large or 4 small bananas
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Stir together flour, baking powder, soda and 3/4 teaspoon salt.
In a mixer bowl, cream honey and shortening with electric mixer.
Add milk and eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add flour mixture and bananas alternately, beating after each addition.
Fold in nuts.
Turn batter into a lightly greased 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pan.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 60 to 65 minutes.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
Remove from pan.
Cool. For easier slicing, wrap and store overnight.
