Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
Preparation

Cream together sugar and butter.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix together flour, salt and soda.
Add flour mixture gradually to the creamed mixture.
Roll out on floured board.
Cut with cookie cutter.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for about 12 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 6 dozen.
